Coach Thach Bao Khanh becomes captain of PVF CAND

In the latest announcement, PVF CAND announced that coach Thach Bao Khanh has become the new coach of the team. The announcement stated: “PVF CAND Club believes that, under the leadership of coach Thach Bao Khanh, the team will continue to maintain its spirit of playing with all its might, bringing impressive performances to the fans as well as striving to achieve its goals.”

Coach Thach Bao Khanh was the one who brought CAND (later renamed CAHN Club) to the top flight. The former Vietnam national team player was also associated with Viettel The Cong Club, but did not achieve the expected success so he left.

Before appointing coach Thach Bao Khanh as captain, PVF CAND parted ways with coach Mauro Jeronimo - who led the team since 2022 and helped the team win the runner-up position in the First Division in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons. In both of these seasons, PVF CAND participated in the play-off match for a ticket to the V-League but were unsuccessful.

PVF CAND is currently competing for promotion with Binh Phuoc and Ninh Binh. After 11 rounds, PVF CAND is temporarily in third place with 21 points, 12 points behind the leading team Ninh Binh.
