Rare story of buffalo "visiting" high school graduation exam site

Since the morning of June 28, social networking sites have been buzzing about the image of a buffalo escaping from its pen and running into the 2024 high school graduation exam site at Kien Thuy High School, Hai Phong City.

On the afternoon of June 28, speaking with Nguoi Dua Tin, Mr. Vu Anh Duong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nui Doi town, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city, said that this buffalo belongs to a trader in Kien Quoc commune (same district as Kien Thuy).

Early in the morning of June 27, a buffalo escaped from its pen and ran into the examination site of Kien Thuy High School. After being chased away, at 6:40 a.m., the buffalo continued to rush into the yard of the People's Committee of Nui Doi town. Then, it ran into a local resident's house and damaged property.

When arriving at Nui Doi market area, the buffalo was surrounded and captured by local people and Nui Doi town police. Afterwards, the buffalo was taken to Nui Doi town police headquarters, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city.

Nui Doi town police worked with the buffalo owner, made a record of administrative violations and asked the buffalo owner to remedy the consequences of the buffalo damaging people's property .
