The beauty said she put her work aside to return home to celebrate Tet early with her family. Over the past two days, the atmosphere at H'Hen Nie's family's stilt house has been filled with laughter as everyone gathered to wrap cakes to give to disadvantaged people in the village and neighboring communes.
Last year, H'Hen Nie's family gave everyone rice grown at home. However, this year's harvest was not good, so she decided to buy sticky rice to make cakes, combined with giving away necessities including MSG, fish sauce, and sugar. The entire cost was taken from H'Hen Nie's personal money and a group of fellow Dak Lak natives.
H'Hen Nie, her parents, aunts, uncles, and friends prepared banana leaves, dozens of kilos of sticky rice, meat, and green beans to wrap the cakes.
After five hours, 400 loaves of bread were completed, then cooked for nearly 10 hours.
"My family has never wrapped such a large quantity of cakes before. I hope this small gift will bring everyone more joy and bring them good luck in the new year," she said.

According to the beauty, while sitting watching the steaming pot of banh chung, she recalled many childhood memories, looking forward to Tet.
H'Hen Nie said she was happy because the cakes contained the feelings of many people sent to the people, not just her.
On January 21, she and everyone transported gifts to Ea Wer and Krong Na communes in Buon Don district and Cu Prao and Krong Jing communes in M'Drak district.
This Tet, H'Hen Nie said she will spend all her time with her family. She plans to buy a lot of chrysanthemums and apricot flowers to decorate her parents' house in the countryside. The house she just bought in Ho Chi Minh City is still in the process of being completed, so the beauty queen will not buy much.
