Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Hoa Binh Province Culture - Tourism Week and the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a special national monument for the archaeological site of Hang Xom Trai and Mai Da Lang Vanh, Mr. Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh Province said that Hoa Binh is located at the gateway to the Northwest region of the country, a land with a long-standing historical and cultural tradition, imbued with the identity of the ethnic groups: Muong, Thai, Tay, Dao, Mong, is the cradle of the famous "Hoa Binh Culture", with more than 100 ranked relics and many unique folk festivals such as: Tien Pagoda Festival, Muong ethnic Khai Ha Festival, Bo Temple Festival, Xen Muong Festival...
Hoa Binh has unique national intangible cultural heritages such as: Mo Muong, Muong gong art, Bamboo calendar folk knowledge of the Muong ethnic group and Keng Loong social and religious customs of the Thai people in Mai Chau.
Mr. Bui Van Khanh emphasized: "Those strengths are being focused on by Hoa Binh province to awaken and strongly promote."
He informed that the 2024 Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province will take place from November 15-23.
The week includes activities such as: Fishing Worship Ceremony, releasing flower lanterns on the Da River; Artistic photo exhibition in 2024 with the theme "Cultural Beauty - Tourism of Hoa Binh Province"; Ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking as special national monuments of Hang Xom Trai, Mai Da Lang Vanh and opening of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh Province in 2024; organizing visits to tourist attractions in Hoa Binh Lake tourist area; Festival to show costumes of ethnic groups in Hoa Binh Province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh hopes that through the event, the potential, strengths, beautiful natural landscapes, unique cultural identities of the ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province will be promoted and introduced; typical attractive tourist destinations of the locality; products from Da River fish and shrimp, agricultural products, typical OCOP products of the province to attract domestic and international tourists.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long affirmed that the archaeological relics of Hang Xom Trai and Mai Da Lang Vanh represent archaeological heritages and heritages of the Muong Hoa Binh culture with unique historical and cultural values, reflecting the working life of ancient residents in Hoa Binh; they are the pride and valuable tourism resources of Hoa Binh province in particular and Vietnam in general.
In recent years, in addition to focusing on economic development to ensure social security, national defense - security, order, safety, society, the Party Committee and the People's Government of all ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province have been very determined in managing, protecting, exploiting and promoting the cultural values, traditional heritages of ethnic groups, especially heritages belonging to Hoa Binh culture associated with sustainable tourism development.
"That gradually makes Hoa Binh one of the attractive destinations for domestic and foreign tourists," Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized.
The 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2021 - 2030 identifies: "Comprehensive and synchronous development of cultural fields, ensuring both promoting the good values of the nation and absorbing the quintessence of human culture, creating momentum for socio-economic development and international integration".

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long accepted the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
