From early morning, thousands of people and tourists flocked to the Quan The Am Pagoda grounds to worship the main ceremony of the Quan The Am Festival 2025.
The ceremony was solemnly held at Quan The Am Pagoda with many unique religious rituals, to honor the generosity, tolerance, compassion, and forgiveness of Bodhisattva Quan The Am. The Quan The Am Festival is held on the 19th day of the 2nd lunar month, the birthday of Quan The Am. This is considered the soul of the Quan The Am - Ngu Hanh Son Festival.
At the ceremony, the Venerables and invited guests went up to the stage to release balloons to pray for peace for humanity.

The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva costume ceremony is performed in parallel with the procession of the Avalokitesvara Buddha statue and is also the most anticipated part of the ceremony by locals and tourists. The procession of the Avalokitesvara Buddha statue across the stage, facing the large crowd of attendees, is a reminder to practice the ability to listen, love, understand and be tolerant, as is his virtue.
The disguise is intended to recreate the image of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at the festival, so that sentient beings have the opportunity to admire his virtue and compassion, and to imply that he is a Bodhisattva who always accompanies sentient beings anytime, anywhere, especially always spreading his compassionate vows, bringing joy and saving suffering to all humanity.

In addition, at the festival there is also a part where people dress up as Bodhisattvas, Fairies,... all performed by the Buddhist family of Quan The Am pagoda.
The 2025 Danang Quan The Am Festival takes place from March 16 to 19 (February 17 to 20 of the Lunar calendar) with many cultural and spiritual activities.
Since 2023, the Ngu Hanh Son Quan The Am Festival has been organized by the Da Nang People's Committee on a city scale. After 3 years of implementation, the Ngu Hanh Son Quan The Am Festival is not only the largest cultural and spiritual event in Da Nang but also one of the 15 major festivals in the country.

This year, the festival has two more meaningful activities: the Peace Walk with more than 300 representatives of city agencies and organizations and foreign consulates in Da Nang participating, and the discussion "The influence of Buddhism in the documentary heritage of the Marble Mountains". These are activities to promote and enhance the value of the Quan The Am Festival - a national intangible cultural heritage.
