Hanoi collects new tuition fees for high-quality public schools

The Hanoi People's Council has passed a Resolution regulating tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions that cover their regular expenses; and high-quality public preschool and general education institutions in Hanoi for the 2024-2025 school year.

According to Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong, Hanoi currently has 298 preschool and general education facilities that are self-sufficient in regular expenses.

Accordingly, the subjects of application of the resolution include: Public preschool and general education institutions that self-insure regular expenditures of Hanoi City (excluding public preschool and general education institutions that are piloting the ordering of educational service prices according to the provisions of Resolution No. 02/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 4, 2023 of the Hanoi People's Council on temporary educational service prices for pilot implementation for preschool and general education institutions using the state budget of Hanoi; high-quality public preschool and general education institutions) and preschool children and general education students studying at these educational institutions. High-quality public preschool and general education institutions of Hanoi City and preschool children and general education students studying at these educational institutions.

At the same time, the Hanoi People's Council approved regulations on educational service prices for pilot implementation in preschool and general education facilities using the State budget of Hanoi.

Accordingly, the price of preschool and general education services using Hanoi's state budget and the salary structure ratio in the service price are as follows. The funding source is from the state budget and tuition fees according to the regulations of Hanoi People's Council.
