Hanoi invests more than 718 billion VND to build 250-bed Eye Hospital

The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the investment project to build a new City Eye Hospital in Phu Luong Ward, Ha Dong District.

The project is invested by the Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total estimated investment of VND 718,969 billion, to be implemented in the period 2025-2026.

The project aims to build a specialized eye hospital with synchronous facilities and equipment, meeting the requirements for medical examination and treatment according to assigned functions and tasks. Upon completion, the hospital will have a scale of 250 beds.

The project belongs to group B, level II construction, with a life span of not less than 50 years. The main construction includes a 9-storey building, excluding the elevator shaft and technical floors, and a basement.

In addition, auxiliary items are also invested in construction, including main gate, side gate, security guard house, fence, power station, generator, medical gas station, wastewater and waste treatment station, and specialized parking lot.

The technical infrastructure system will be invested synchronously including leveling, internal roads, water supply and drainage, medium and low voltage power supply, lighting, trees, landscape, outdoor fire prevention and fighting system, medical gas system, clean gas, information technology, nurse call, surveillance cameras, wastewater treatment...

The City People's Committee requires the investor to be legally responsible for the accuracy of the volume, cost, structural calculation results and legality of the documents submitted for approval.

The investor is responsible for researching and reviewing the technical infrastructure system of the area, updating the infrastructure connection plan to ensure savings, efficiency, economic-technical optimization, and ensuring the ability to operate synchronously between technical infrastructure inside and outside the project.

At the same time, the investor shall receive and complete the appraisal opinions of relevant agencies and the noted contents in the appraisal result notification document of the Department of Construction in order to prepare and submit for appraisal and approval the construction drawing design - estimate in accordance with the planning, ensuring synchronous infrastructure connection, economic-technical optimization, savings and efficiency, avoiding loss and waste of investment capital.

The investor is responsible for organizing project management and selecting contractors in accordance with regulations on management of construction investment using State budget capital, on bidding and contractor selection, and at the same time, reporting on investment monitoring and evaluation and coordinating community monitoring according to regulations.

Relevant departments and branches are responsible for coordinating and guiding investors to implement projects in accordance with current regulations, and are responsible for state management in their assigned fields for related work during the implementation of investment projects.
