On the morning of February 14, the Ha Long City Party Committee held a meeting of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to meet with cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, who are still old enough to be re-elected, and have applied for early retirement according to the policy of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus of the Central, the province and the city.
Implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Central Executive Committee on innovation and reorganization of the political system, Ha Long City has 12 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, who are still old enough to be re-elected to work, but have voluntarily submitted applications for early retirement to create conditions for streamlining the apparatus and improving operational efficiency.
The cases of early retirement include: Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Lam Ward; Party Secretary of Tuan Chau Ward; Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Vu Oai Commune; Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ky Thuong Commune; Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Yet Kieu Ward; Deputy Party Secretary of Tran Hung Dao Ward; Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yet Kieu Ward; Deputy Party Secretary of Thong Nhat Commune; Deputy Party Secretary of Ha Phong Ward; Deputy Party Secretary of Cao Thang Ward; Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee. Among the 12 people who requested early retirement, there were 4 people born in 1970, 1971, 1973.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the 12 comrades in the recent past and praised the pioneering, exemplary and responsible spirit of the 12 comrades who accepted to sacrifice personal interests for the common interests of the City Party Committee.
The decision to retire early while still being eligible for re-election demonstrates the exemplary spirit of cadres and party members. This is something very valuable and needs to be honored, an example for cadres and party members in the entire political system of the city to learn, behave and act; at the same time, it contributes significantly to the process of arranging and merging the apparatus, creating opportunities for young and capable cadres to develop and contribute. The implementation of the apparatus arrangement in the spirit of Resolution 18 not only helps to improve the efficiency of the political system, but also creates conditions for the city to arrange new cadres, meeting the requirements of the new situation, contributing to the overall development of the province.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee believes that with the courage, solidarity, response, sacrifice, and implementation of common tasks of the city's cadres and party members, Ha Long will become a leading locality in innovation, a model, civilized city, and a driving force of the province, commensurate with its existing potential and advantages.
