Ha Long Carnival 2025 is scheduled to take place on April 30

In 2025, Quang Ninh province plans to organize 170 cultural, sports and tourism programs and events in the province from April to September. Of these, there are 24 programs, events and activities to stimulate international, national and provincial tourism; 146 programs, events and activities to stimulate local tourism. Many major events are held for the first time in Quang Ninh.

Particularly in Ha Long City - a key tourist destination of the province, many tourism stimulus activities will be organized. Notably, Ha Long Summer Tourism Week 2025 will have 5 cultural, artistic and sports activities focusing on the April 30 and May 1 holidays to serve tourists and people. In particular, the Carnaval 2025 program will be one of the special events in the series of activities of Ha Long Summer Tourism Week 2025. The program is expected to take place at 8:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025 in Bai Chay ward with the gathering of thousands of actors, professional artists, international art troupes and artisans. With the theme of the program: "Ha Long Carnaval 2025 - Connecting Heritage, Pioneering Shining", the program consists of 4 parts: Opening art program; Ha Long Carnaval grand ball; DJ performance; high-altitude fireworks display.

Concluding this content, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: In 2025, Quang Ninh aims to attract 20 million visitors. The successful organization of cultural, sports and tourism programs and events will contribute to realizing the above goal. He requested the Provincial Party Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to direct localities and units to do a good job of preparation, especially in developing program content to ensure it is increasingly attractive, creating a deep impression on tourists and people.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested to continue promoting the spirit of creativity in promoting and advertising tourism, especially in building new tours, routes, and tourism products; at the same time, research and build unique tourism products, different from other localities in the country to attract visitors to the province. Along with organizing cultural, sports, and tourism programs and events in the province, localities and units need to have plans to attract large domestic and international conferences and seminars to be held in Quang Ninh. Through that, it contributes to promoting the potentials and strengths, promoting tourism development of the province.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee listened to and gave opinions on the results of the rearrangement and handling of houses and land in the province. Accordingly, implementing the Decrees and Circulars guiding the Central Government on the rearrangement and handling of public assets such as houses and land, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee have issued many documents to thoroughly grasp and direct the rearrangement and handling of houses and land in the province, handling headquarters and offices that are used inefficiently, not used or used for the wrong purpose; ensuring that public assets such as headquarters and offices are used economically and effectively, avoiding waste and loss of public assets in accordance with the Central Government's direction.

During the implementation process, the agencies, units and localities assigned to manage and use houses and land have focused on comprehensive review, organizing inventory, accounting, monitoring, management and use of public assets in accordance with the provisions of law. Up to this point, the province has completed the arrangement of 99.6% of houses and land in accordance with regulations.

Directing this content, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the participation of agencies, units and localities in reviewing and arranging housing and land facilities in accordance with the Central's instructions.

Agreeing with the recommendations and proposals of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Secretary requested to continue to complete the statistics of public assets such as houses and land. On that basis, develop a plan for effective management and use, especially in the period of preparing to end district-level activities and reorganize commune-level administrative units, ensuring to avoid wasting public assets, while serving the socio-economic development of the locality. In addition, it is necessary to proactively review all public assets such as houses and land assigned to state-owned enterprises and central agencies in the area, ensuring that state management in this field is carried out in a comprehensive and synchronous manner.

Also on the same day, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also listened to and gave opinions on the weekly work tasks and many other important contents.
