On July 18, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) informed about the international exhibition on fire prevention and rescue techniques, equipment and security and safety equipment in 2024, which will take place from August 14 to 16.

Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong - Deputy Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department said that the new point of this exhibition is to introduce applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in house and construction design, serving fire prevention and rescue work. Currently, there are many AI-applied devices such as robots serving fire prevention and rescue work.

In addition, within the framework of the exhibition, there will be training activities, disseminating knowledge and skills to the community in fire prevention and rescue work such as: Moving and escaping in a smoke-filled house, performing chest compressions on a real model, extinguishing fires on a 3D model.

One topic that many people are interested in is the application and solution of fire prevention and fighting in areas such as houses in alleys, houses combined with business, houses with many apartments, and rental houses.

Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong also said that this year's exhibition will introduce many fire alarms, local fire alarms, and wireless fire alarms. These devices are very suitable for use in private homes and rental apartments.

The exhibition also introduced many technical equipment, introducing types of fire escape ladders directly attached to apartments and houses adjacent to the street without wasting space or aesthetics of the building. The ladder equipment is convenient, helping victims escape in emergency situations.

According to the representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, the exhibition has the participation of more than 450 brands, which are agencies, units, manufacturers, and leading suppliers of fire prevention and rescue techniques and equipment, security equipment, and safety protection from 17 countries and territories.

The 2024 International Exhibition on Fire Protection Technology, Equipment, Rescue, and Security Equipment, Safety and Protection will take place from August 14-16 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7 (HCMC).
