Authorized, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang presented the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Major General Pham The Tung - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police to hold the position of Director of the Department of Internal Political Security.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed: Major General Pham The Tung is a cadre who has received basic training and matured from the grassroots, is rich in experience, has worked in many units and positions, demonstrated his capacity, professional qualifications and leadership qualities, and is decisive in directing and operating... Major General Pham The Tung always demonstrates an exemplary spirit, high responsibility for work, excellently completes all assigned tasks and is trusted by the collective.
From 2018 to present, comrade Pham The Tung has been an emulation soldier at the grassroots level, awarded many Orders, Medals and Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Public Security.
Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized: Major General Pham The Tung was assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to hold the position of Director of the Internal Political Security Department, demonstrating the recognition and trust of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security for his contributions during his work.
The Internal Political Security Department is a particularly important unit, directly performing the function of protecting the Party, protecting internal political security, cultural and ideological security, information and communication security...; in the context of proactive, comprehensive and extensive international integration, hostile and reactionary forces are increasing their activities against the Party and the State with increasingly insidious and cunning methods and tricks... the task of protecting internal political security is increasingly high and urgent.
Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang believes that in his new position, Major General Pham The Tung will continue to promote his political mettle, working capacity, sense of responsibility, exemplary spirit, solidarity, and unity with the Party Committee and leaders of the Internal Political Security Department to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Pham The Tung respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for their trust and confidence in assigning him the important responsibility, affirming that this is an honor, pride, and an important responsibility assigned by the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.
