SJC gold price suddenly increased sharply in the opening session this morning, October 8, after nearly a week of "inactivity".
At 9:00 a.m., Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company announced the buying price of SJC gold at VND83 million/tael and the selling price at VND85 million/tael, an increase of VND1 million/tael. The most recent adjustment (October 1), this brand increased by VND500,000/tael.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings remained stable. Specifically, Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings at 82.7-83.6 million VND/tael. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of smooth round gold rings at 82.68-83.58 million VND/tael (buy/sell).
In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 2,641 USD/ounce, down about 10 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price when converted is equivalent to 79.7 million VND/tael, cheaper than the domestic SJC brand by about 5.3 million VND/tael.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on October 8 at 24,168 VND/USD, an increase of 15 VND compared to October 7.
With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank and BIDV both listed the USD exchange rate from 24,690-25,050 VND/USD, an increase of 20 VND compared to the previous closing price.
Meanwhile, Vietinbank bought at 24,663 VND/USD and sold at 25,023 VND/USD, down 37 VND. Agribank announced from 24,660-25,000 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous closing price.
