Gold price increased sharply to 73.6 million VND/tael
At the time of survey at 5:00 a.m. on November 29, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 72.30 million VND/tael for buying and 73.50 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 72.60 - 73.60 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 72.50 - 73.45 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 72.40 - 73.72 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
USD continues to fall, why?
Today's USD exchange rate, November 29, 2023, reversed and increased slightly by 5 VND in both buying and selling directions. The world USD price fell dramatically, slipping below the 103-point mark.
The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank today is adjusted to 23,930 VND/USD, down 17 VND compared to the closing price of yesterday's trading session.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,076 VND/USD. The US dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,076 VND/USD.
In the world market, the Dollar Index (DXY), measuring the USD against 6 major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF), stopped at 102.79 points - down 0.39% compared to trading on November 28. At the end of this morning's trading session, the US dollar continued to depreciate sharply. The US Dollar Index (DXY) broke below 103.00, specifically falling to 102.79 points, the lowest level of the day since August 11.
The yield on the 10-year US Treasury note fell to 4.33%, its lowest since September 20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit its highest level since August, continuing its rally and adding another negative factor for the US dollar. Markets await US data on Wednesday, including a new estimate of third-quarter GDP growth.
Domestic coffee prices increased by 200 VND/kg
Updated at 4:36 a.m. on November 29, 2023, coffee prices increased again for the second session and are maintaining a fairly good level. Currently, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is about 58,400 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Lak province is 58,700 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is 58,400 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at 58,500 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 57,900 VND/kg.
In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee was purchased at the highest price of 58,600 VND/kg, while in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it was purchased at the same price of 58,700 VND/kg.
Pepper prices increased by 500 - 1,000 VND/kg
Pepper prices today in the Central Highlands and Southeast regions increased sharply by 500 - 1,000 VND/kg, ranging from 69,000 - 72,500 VND/kg.
Specifically, pepper prices in the Central Highlands range from 69,000 - 70,500 VND/kg. Of which, Chu Se pepper price (Gia Lai) was purchased by traders at 69,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg; Dak Lak pepper price and Dak Nong pepper price were purchased at 70,500 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

According to data from the General Department of Customs, pepper exports in the first half of November 2023 reached 9,610 tons, up 19.1% over the same period in October 2023 and up 22.8% over the same period in 2022. The turnover reached 36.88 million USD, up 17.9% over the same period in October 2023 and up 31.1% over the same period in 2022. In the first 11 months, pepper exports reached 235,068 tons, up 17.7% over the same period in 2022; turnover reached more than 792.48 million USD, down 8.4%.
