Gia Loc exceeded the target of streamlining staff

The administrative reform inspection team of the Provincial People's Committee led by comrade Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Deputy Head of Inspection Team No. 1 inspected administrative reform work and apparatus organization in Gia Loc district.

According to the report of Gia Loc District People's Committee, by mid-October 2024, the entire district had reduced 26 positions. Of which, 1 position was in the administrative agency block, 25 positions were in the public service unit block, exceeding 1 person compared to the 2024 plan.

Gia Loc district has also completed the dossier requesting competent authorities to consider and resolve the staff reduction regime for 1 commune official; issued a decision to retire 4 commune officials who are not old enough to be re-elected according to regulations.

Gia Loc is the first district-level locality in Hai Duong province to exceed the 2024 staff streamlining plan target.

The district has done a good job in managing and using the payroll of civil servants and public employees and streamlining the payroll. Agencies and units use payroll economically and effectively; build and arrange the staff of civil servants and public employees according to job positions suitable to the requirements of assigned tasks, basically promoting the capacity of civil servants, public employees and workers.

In 2024, Gia Loc district was assigned 1,986 staffing quotas by the Provincial People's Committee. The number of staff to be reduced is 25 people.
