Recommendations for breeders
With current high prices, livestock experts emphasize that people need to be flexible in selling pigs when prices peak to ensure profits.
In addition, special attention should be paid to improving product quality, ensuring a clean and safe pork supply to increase competitiveness in the market. At the same time, updating live pig prices daily will help farmers make reasonable sales decisions.
Besides, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between livestock households, businesses and traders to optimize production costs and stabilize output.
Control work in Lang Son
According to information from the Lang Son Provincial Portal, the Provincial Steering Committee 389 issued Official Dispatch No. 139 dated December 12, requesting to strengthen the prevention of smuggling and illegal transportation of pigs and pork products across the border.
In the document, Steering Committee 389 assigned the Border Guard to coordinate with the Customs Department, the Animal Quarantine Sub-Department of Lang Son region and other functional forces to strengthen supervision at border gates, trails and shortcuts in border areas to strictly control, promptly detect and strictly handle violations.
The provincial police force is responsible for mobilizing the Traffic Police and Economic Police to inspect vehicles passing through the area. At the same time, it is ready to deploy special projects to combat cases of smuggling pigs and pork products.
In addition, the media needs to actively report on illegal import and export activities and provide information on the epidemic situation. Strengthening propaganda helps people proactively implement disease prevention measures according to the instructions of specialized agencies.
