In recent years, the initiative and improvement movement has been widely deployed in factories and units of the GELEX Group system.
In the past 2 years, Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation CADIVI has had 363 topics approved, with 184 initiatives recognized. Of which, in 2023, the company had 241 topics, with 88 initiatives recognized. Not only increasing in quantity, initiatives and improvements are increasingly improving in quality. Many machines, equipment, production lines, management software... have been created or upgraded, improved, contributing significantly to improving production and business efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tham - Head of the Electromechanical Team of CADIVI Eastern Factory, who has worked for 38 years at the unit, is one of the individuals with many outstanding initiatives. Notably, the topic "Improving the 2 in 1 automatic packaging roll collector" has helped the company reduce errors in the process of rolling electric cable products.
Mr. Tham said: “During the implementation, I was also under a lot of pressure because even a small mistake could affect the production progress. Therefore, after completing the testing and applying it to actual production, I was very happy because I achieved results beyond my imagination. Previously, there were nearly 15-20 faulty coils every day, but now there are no more. This has contributed to improving product quality and saving costs for the company.”
Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company (THIBIDI) is also a typical unit in arousing the spirit of labor and promoting creative initiatives. In particular, the company's technical department is one of the departments with many initiatives, helping to benefit the enterprise with billions of dong.
Mr. Le Xuan Sang - Head of THIBIDI Technical Department said: “For me, innovation must come from the smallest things. During the working process, it is necessary to continuously improve, research and learn new technology, and experiment to come up with optimal design solutions and suitable technology. Initiatives and innovations are the result of collective creativity, each person contributes an idea, shares knowledge, and complements each other so that the topic can be completed; thereby, the connection between brothers in the factory also increases".
At EMIC Electrical Measuring Equipment JSC, in the period of 2022-2023, despite many economic difficulties, the company still actively strives to complete production and business tasks, while maintaining jobs for hundreds of employees.
