Today (September 5), Garmin officially launched the fēnix 8 Series of ultimate GPS smartwatches, the latest generation in the company's outdoor smartwatch portfolio. The product includes two main versions: the fēnix 8 AMOLED with a brilliant screen and the fēnix 8 Solar with solar charging technology.
Designed for anyone who wants to push their limits, the fēnix 8 Series is packed with features like Garmin Share, which recommends intensive strength workouts, built-in speakers and microphones for easy voice calls, and a new recreational dive mode.
In particular, users can rest assured to participate in outdoor activities without worrying about interruption thanks to the upgraded "huge" battery life of the two versions: fēnix 8 AMOLED 51mm up to one month in smart mode, fēnix 8 Solar 51mm up to 48 days1.
Upgrade features, diversify experiences for all users:
• AMOLED/Solar display: Users can choose between a vibrant AMOLED display that comes in three size options: 43mm, 47mm, and 51mm, or a Solar version equipped with breakthrough solar-charging lens technology in two sizes: 47mm and 51mm, and the fēnix 8 – 51mm even offers 50% more solar power than its predecessor.
• Ultra-durable design: All versions are equipped with waterproof metal buttons and a new sensor protection layer. The device uses high-quality materials such as titanium bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire glass, contributing to increased durability when operating in the harshest conditions.
• Built-in speaker and microphone: Users can make calls directly on the watch when connected to a compatible smartphone. Some voice commands such as “start running”, “set a timer for 5 minutes”, “save waypoint”... can all be performed directly on the watch without connecting to a phone.
• Multi-function LED flashlight: Easily adjust the brightness of the flashlight directly from the screen with different light intensities. The ultimate GPS smartwatch series fenix 8 will officially go on sale on September 9, 2024. The fenix 8 AMOLED version is available in three size options: 43mm, 47mm and 51mm with suggested retail prices: fenix 8: from VND 26,990,000, fenix E priced at VND 20,990,000. The Solar version will be launched in Vietnam in October 2024. From September 5, 2024 to September 30, 2024, when pre-ordering and purchasing fenix 8 Series products at Garmin brand stores and authorized Garmin dealers nationwide, users will receive many valuable incentives.
