Nearly 80 trainees receive professional training in forest fire prevention and fighting.

To prepare well for forest fire prevention and fighting, Nghe An Forest Protection Department coordinated with Forest Protection Department Region 2 to organize a training course on forest fire prevention and fighting in 2024. There were 76 participants, from 17 inter-district forest protection units, 3 mobile forest protection and forest fire prevention and fighting teams.

The training course has 7 topics on the following contents: General knowledge on forest fire prevention and fighting; State management on forest fire prevention and fighting, communication on forest protection, forest fire prevention and fighting; practice in using machinery and equipment; exchange of practical experiences in forest fire prevention and fighting.

Through the training program, trainees are equipped with additional knowledge, skills, and techniques in forest fire prevention and fighting, and operating techniques, proficient use of some types of forest fire prevention and fighting vehicles, equipment, and machines; skills in commanding and directing forest fire fighting when a forest fire occurs to be able to apply in practice locally.

At the same time, enhance the role and responsibility of forest fire prevention and fighting in the management area; actively prevent, detect and promptly handle situations when forest fires occur.
