The photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam 2024" attracted more than 6,800 participants, including 581 international authors and 265 Vietnamese authors abroad.
This is the second time the "Happy Vietnam 2024" contest has been held. Each work is an interesting story, an impressive moment or a meaningful message about love for the homeland and country, with pride, love and aspiration for a prosperous and happy life throughout Vietnam. After nearly 7 months of launching, from March 20 to October 15, the contest attracted 6,863 authors with 10,327 photo and video works, including 9,657 photo works and 670 video works. Among the participating authors, there are 581 international authors, 265 Vietnamese authors abroad with nearly 1,000 works. The jury and organizing committee selected 60 videos and 150 impressive photos to display at the exhibition, of which 34 best works were awarded. The total prize value of both photo and video categories is up to nearly 400 million VND.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition and the announcement of the awards for the “Happy Vietnam 2024” contest will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 11 at the Hanoi Opera House. After the award ceremony, the outstanding works will continue to be exhibited domestically and internationally, serving the communication and promotion of Vietnam’s achievements in ensuring human rights in 2025.
