FPT received certificate of merit for science and technology development

On April 3, the Steering Committee of Program No. 07-CTr/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee on promoting the development of science, technology and innovation in the city for the period 2021-2025 (Program 07) held a conference to summarize the Program. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong - Head of the Steering Committee of Program 07 chaired and delivered a speech at the conference.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT is one of the individuals receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee.

Also attending the conference were Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Doan Toan - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha; Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee Ha Minh Hai; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Pham Qui Tien and representatives of leaders of relevant units.

Program No. 07 of the Hanoi Party Committee on promoting the development of science, technology and innovation (S&I) in the city for the period 2021-2025 is one of the 10 major work programs of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee.

Over the past 5 years, the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee have effectively directed the implementation of many programs, projects and plans to promote the development of science, technology and innovation in Hanoi in the period of 2021 - 2025. All levels and sectors have also paid attention to implementing many tasks on science, technology and innovation, thereby creating a driving force to promote the economic and social development of the capital.

As a result, Program No. 07 has made an important contribution to promoting economic growth, improving labor productivity and enhancing the competitiveness of the Capital. With its achievements, the Program has created an important foundation for the development of science, technology and innovation in the period 2025 - 2030.

Hanoi has affirmed its position as the country's leading center for science, technology and innovation, always ranking in the leading group in many indicators and criteria such as: number of international publications; number of registered and granted patents; number of science and technology enterprises.

In the coming time, the Steering Committee will set out major and specific directions and tasks to seriously implement the tasks, goals and targets set out in Program No. 07-CTr/TU for the period 2026-2030. In particular, the important goal is to develop science and technology, innovation and digital transformation to become the main driving force for the socio-economic development of the Capital.

On this occasion, the Hanoi Party Committee and the Hanoi People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Program 07. In particular, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT is one of the individuals receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing Program No. 07 of Hanoi on "Promoting the development of science and technology for innovation in the city for the period 2021-2025".

In 2024, with its technological capabilities and practical implementation experience, FPT will continue to accompany the Government and businesses to remove barriers and promote the digital transformation process effectively and sustainably. In 2025, facing great opportunities in the context of the era of national development and the era of AI technology globally, FPT commits to continue to be a trusted partner of the Government, localities and businesses to exploit the power of technology and create new values.
