On the evening of November 15, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department chaired and coordinated with Vietnam Television and relevant agencies to organize the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2024" - Honoring typical examples nationwide in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Also attending were comrades Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central External Relations Department; comrades of the Party Central Committee, alternate members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; Standing members of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; leaders of the Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees and typical representatives nationwide studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2024.
The program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2024" with the theme "Innovation and Development" is a proud and emotional journey with programs "exchanging typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in 3 regions: the North with the theme "Steadfastness", the Central Highlands with the theme "Creative Sail", the South with the theme "Pioneering Aspiration" to reach the National Typical Honor Program with the theme "Innovation and Development".
With 3 chapters: "Leading birds", "Flying far together" and "Aspiration to rise", the special political art and exchange program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2024" has profound content, creative and impressive expressions, creating surprises, and strong influence through real-life reports following Uncle Ho's footsteps and stories about typical examples told through reports, elaborate art performances, exchanges, and meetings between typical examples with historical witnesses, experts, famous people with prestige and positive influence on the social community.
The songs “A forest, a life”, “The Internationale”, “You give me everything” and reports on humanity during storm No. 3, the clean water supply model on Bach Long Vi island; the example of Senior Lieutenant Ho Van Viet, Navy Region 2, who sticks to the sea and helps people; Professor, Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, who has a project to protect the health of pregnant mothers; the circular organic farming model to protect land resources... From there, continue to spread the ideological values, ethics, style, life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, while honoring typical examples in practicing Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style.
At the Program, 24 typical examples nationwide were honored. They were cadres, party members, soldiers, doctors, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities, workers, farmers, typical groups, good models, effective ways of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
The program is a combination of art performances, reports, and exchanges with typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style. Many profound stories, typical examples of the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho with specific, simple, yet noble actions; many creative, effective, humane models, attractive and inspiring to the community; although different in age, profession, position, in many different circumstances and fields, the advanced examples are all shining examples of steadfastness, pioneering spirit, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, daring to innovate, be creative, daring to face difficulties, challenges, and daring to act for the common good, dedicating themselves to working, studying, and building the country. These are victories, simple results in everyday life but of great social significance; these are fragrant flowers in the forest of "thousands of good deeds"; are examples of continuing the example of studying and following Uncle Ho, contributing to continuing the glorious history of the Ho Chi Minh era.
Speaking at the program, General Secretary To Lam, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, warmly congratulated and commended the collectives, individuals, and typical models honored in the Program.
Expressing his infinite gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh, the General Secretary emphasized the urgent need to continuously study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style at a new level, creating a strong momentum to bring the country firmly into a new era, an era of development, an era of prosperity, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as President Ho Chi Minh wished and the aspiration of the entire nation.
The General Secretary noted that 2025 will witness many important historical events, 95 years of glorious history of the Party, 80 years of independence and 50 years of liberation of the South and national reunification; it is also the year of Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress; it is the time after 40 years of renovation, with great achievements, with the position and strength accumulated, with new opportunities, we are standing at the door of history to firmly step into a new era, an era of national development. The General Secretary expressed his belief that the spread of typical advanced examples in studying and following Uncle Ho will be wider and deeper; we will promote the spirit, soul and spirit of Vietnam; promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-reliance, national pride, so that the Journey of Aspiration will soon reach its glorious destination.
The General Secretary directed Party committees and authorities at all levels, first of all the leaders, to promote the achieved results, have specific plans and solutions, set an example, and make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle a personal cultural need of each cadre, Party member and people of all walks of life. The Central Propaganda Department highly promoted its advisory, coordination and implementation role, making studying and following Uncle Ho a voluntary, regular daily task, associated with the emulation movement to implement Uncle Ho's Testament, implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, creating a clear change in solving specific and practical tasks, strongly promoting economic - cultural - social development, ensuring social security, caring for the people, fighting against corruption, waste and negativity.
General Secretary To Lam affirmed: “Studying and following Uncle Ho to build our Party is truly “moral and civilized”, each Party member is truly “a loyal servant of the people”; so that our entire Party, people and army, regardless of the circumstances, always steadfastly adhere to the goal of national independence associated with socialism; the iron will that “nothing is more precious than independence and freedom”; constantly consolidate and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc under the leadership of the Party, combined with the strength of the times, successfully implementing the strategic goals of 100 years under the leadership of the Party, 100 years of the founding of the country; no matter how difficult it is, we must definitely build a Vietnam of rich people, strong country, fairness, democracy and civilization”.
The General Secretary requested that each typical example honored today continue to contribute, set an example with new results, new successes, constantly spread, inspire, attract people of all walks of life to compete to learn and follow Uncle Ho so that "each good person, each good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest", contributing to building socialist people, creating the foundation for successfully building socialism.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee announced a digital data system on typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; awarded symbols and certificates to honor typical examples nationwide in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2024.
