Quang Ninh: A candidate who forgot his papers was taken home by traffic police 10 km from the exam site, returning just in time for the bell to announce the exam papers.
On the morning of June 28, candidate Vu Thi Thanh Thuy went to the Chu Van An High School in Tran Phu Ward, Mong Cai City to take the graduation exam in Literature. However, when checking in, the female student discovered that she did not have her exam card or any other identification.
Thuy called her family many times to bring her things but they were not available, so she ran to the school gate to ask for support. At that time, the teachers planned to use a motorbike to take her home. However, realizing that the distance of nearly 10 km was quite far, Captain Vu Dinh Duong, who was on duty at the exam site, suggested using a specialized vehicle to support Thuy.

After receiving the commander's approval, Captain Duong took Thuy home in Tra Co Ward, Mong Cai City. In many crowded sections, Captain Duong had to turn on the priority warning to ask for the right of way. Including the trip there and back, it took about 20 minutes.
"Thuy was brought to the school yard at 7am, a little before the bell rang to announce the distribution of exam papers," Captain Duong shared. According to many teachers here, candidates were told to arrive at the exam site before 6:30am.
Captain Duong said that from the time Thuy got in the car until she entered the exam room, the two of them did not have time to say a word to each other. "She was in a hurry and was nervous. Luckily she was still able to take the exam. I hope she did well," Captain Duong said.
According to regulations, candidates who arrive at the exam site 15 minutes late after the exam papers are distributed will not be allowed to continue taking the exam.
On June 28, more than 16,000 candidates in Quang Ninh completed the Literature and Math exams. Tomorrow, they will take the Natural Science or Social Science exam in the morning and the Foreign Language exam in the afternoon.
