Important milestones of the 2025 high school graduation exam

(Dan Tri) - Candidates need to pay attention to important milestones of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), candidates will start registering for the 2025 high school graduation exam from April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28.

Before that, candidates have 4 days to register for a trial on the online system, in order to master their skills and avoid filling in incorrect information fields. The trial registration period is from April 15 to April 18.

The Ministry of Education and Training also noted that the candidate's profile photo uploaded to the system must have a minimum resolution of 400x600 pixels. To ensure smooth photo entry, candidates need to take photos according to the citizen identification standard.

Candidates must use a single form of identification, either an identity card/citizen identification card, or personal identification, or passport.

This year’s high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. Candidates will complete the exam registration procedures and learn the exam regulations on the afternoon of June 25. June 28 is the backup exam date.

Candidates currently in grade 12 will only have to take 3 exams including 4 math and literature tests and 2 elective subjects, completing the exam on the morning of June 27.

Candidates who retake the exam must take 4 sessions including 4 exams according to the old program: Math, Literature, English and a natural science or social science exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training has not yet announced the university admission schedule for 2025.
