Be proactive and confident in reviewing for the 2025 high school graduation exam

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has finalized the schedule for the 2025 high school graduation exam starting from June 26, one day earlier than last year. Recently, schools have also proactively prepared for the exam so that students have enough knowledge and confidence before taking the exam.

Recognizing the importance of the exam, the preparation for this activity has been paid attention to and implemented early by the Departments of Education and Training and schools. For example, in Hanoi, from March 20 to 23, the Department of Education and Training successfully organized a quality survey for students in grades 11 and 12. This is considered a meaningful rehearsal, especially for students in grade 12, to prepare for the high school graduation exam that will take place at the end of June 2025.

Specifically, the survey participants are 11th and 12th graders in the 2024-2025 school year studying at high schools (public and private), vocational education and continuing education centers. Accordingly, the whole city has about 120,000 11th graders and nearly 119,000 12th graders participating in the survey. All methods of organizing the survey are as serious as a real exam. At the entrance area, schools clearly post the survey time for each subject, drum commands, survey room diagrams, and regulations on badges of officers, teachers, and staff participating in the survey service. Each survey room has 2 invigilators, students are called into the room to sit with the correct registration number. Outside the room, the registration number and survey regulations are posted, and the supervisors work seriously and in accordance with their assigned responsibilities.

A representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that the 12th grade student survey has been maintained by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for many years, receiving support from public opinion, parents and students. 2025 is the second year that the Department has organized a survey for 11th grade students. Organizing a survey for students in the form of a real exam demonstrates the spirit, responsibility and initiative of the learners.

In Bac Giang, immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the reference exam questions for the 2025 high school graduation exam, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training promptly issued a document guiding review according to the orientation; requiring schools to deploy, disseminate, and post on their websites the reference exam questions, and direct professional teams and groups to develop one exam question for each subject according to the structure and format of the reference exam questions of the Ministry of Education and Training...

In Ho Chi Minh City, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training requested the principals of high schools and general schools with many levels of education, including high schools, to direct professional groups to complete the 12th grade general education program at the high school level according to the education plan, in accordance with the guidance on the 2024-2025 school year time frame of the City People's Committee and the guidance on adjusting the content of general education teaching according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. The Director of the Department of Education and Training has directed high schools to implement the review plan for the high school graduation exam according to regulations, ensuring that it does not last more than 3 weeks after the end of the school year, and at the same time, implement the review plan publicly and transparently.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2025 high school graduation exam will be developed in a direction that closely follows the high school education program, mainly the content of the 12th grade program and the content that is continuous from grades 10, 11 to grade 12. The exam will have differentiated questions that require connection to solving practical problems. Therefore, in the process of studying and reviewing, for any content that can be connected to reality, students need to get used to reasoning and researching to be able to meet the requirements of the exam well.

Announcement of high school graduation exam results in 2025 on July 16

According to the preparation plan, the organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 16. Print and send the Certificate of Exam Results to candidates, to be completed no later than July 22. Receive appeal applications and make a list of appeals from July 16 to July 25. Consider recognizing high school graduation after appeal no later than August 8.
