At Le Lai Primary School (Hai Chau District), students participated in a donation program to support their peers who are facing difficulties and losses due to storms and floods.
Most children are given a small amount of money by their parents to contribute, showing kindness, love, and sharing with the less fortunate in times of trouble.
Others have used the savings they have from small plans or saved from the spare change left after each breakfast.

More cutely, some children wrote letters by hand stating that the money they donated to their friends in the North was all from selling cans and the swimming competition prize money. Along with that, they wished them good health and happiness.
Sharing in an open letter, the Board of Directors of Le Lai Primary School said that they have decided to change the plan to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for students.
Instead of inviting lion dance teams to perform or having exciting performances, the school will transfer all of the funds to the Da Nang Education Trade Union to support people in the North to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
The school also organized a fundraising activity with the desire to share with people in the flood in the North.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Dung, Principal of Le Lai Primary School, said that when she read the handwritten messages from the students, she was very surprised because the school called on the students to save money and thought that they would only save a few thousand dong.
"When I read these handwritten lines, I was moved by the students' feelings for the less fortunate people who suffered the consequences of natural disasters," Ms. Dung expressed.
According to Ms. Dung, the school's fundraising activities are an opportunity to educate students about gratitude for living in a peaceful place, free from storms and floods, and to share the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance, and responsibility so that they can live with love and share for a better future.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, schools are responding to the call of the Department and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, carrying out donation campaigns depending on the actual situation and conditions of students and teachers.
Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang and the Trade Union of the Education and Training Sector of Da Nang issued an official dispatch calling on and mobilizing officials, civil servants and employees in the agency to support the people of the North to overcome the consequences caused by Typhoon Yagi.
The mobilized funds will be transferred to the Da Nang Education and Training Trade Union. All funds will be used on the principles of publicity, transparency and appropriate allocation among the affected localities.
According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, as of 3:30 p.m. on September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City had received 4.2 billion VND in support and contributions from more than 1,600 individuals.
Of which, cash support is more than 724 million VND, the rest is supported through the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city. The list of support from individuals, organizations, and account statements has been made public.
