Mock exam schedule for grade 10 of 2 'hot' specialized schools in Hanoi

Two "hot" specialized high schools in Hanoi have announced the schedule for the second and third rounds of mock exams for grade 10 to help candidates have the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming entrance exam.

2025 is the first year that junior high school students take the entrance exam to high schools according to the 2018 general education program. To help candidates get acquainted, practice skills, improve knowledge, and prepare for the entrance exam to grade 10 taking place in early June 2025, some specialized high schools in Hanoi have started to launch mock exams.

Foreign Language Specialized High School (Foreign Language University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) has just announced to organize 2 trial exams:

Phase 1 on March 30, 2025 with subjects Literature, Math, English requirements, and specialized English; registration period from March 7 to March 16.

Round 2 on April 27, 2025 with the following subjects: Literature, Math, Conditional English, Specialized Foreign Language (including English/French/Chinese/German/Japanese/Korean). Registration for the exam is from March 7 to April 16.

Literature is tested in the form of multiple choice and essay questions in 120 minutes; Math is also tested in this form in 90 minutes; English is tested in 60 minutes; Foreign Language is tested in multiple choice and essay questions in 90 minutes.

The exam fee is 600,000 VND/session for 4 subjects, including registration fee, exam fee and is non-refundable if the candidate drops out of the exam.

The results of each trial test will be announced by the school 20 days after the test date (excluding weekends and holidays) on the website of the University of Foreign Languages ​​and the website of the Foreign Language Specialized High School.

The High School for Gifted Students of the National University of Education (Hanoi National University of Education) also organizes mock exams in March, April, and May 2025. The first exam schedule takes place on March 9.

Math and English exams last 90 minutes each, English takes 60 minutes. Chemistry and English exams last 120 minutes, the remaining specialized subjects last 150 minutes.

Exam fee is 600,000 VND/exam.

The National University of Education High School for the Gifted enrolls students in 8 specialized subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, English, Information Technology and Geography. Of which, the new geography class will open in 2024. Exam results, test suggestions and grading scale will be announced on the school's website after candidates know their exam scores.
