Pioli could leave Al Nassr.

Sportitalia reported that the 59-year-old tactician has disappointed the board with the team's unsatisfactory results. Since taking over Al Nassr in September 2024, Pioli's record is 21 wins, 6 draws and 6 losses, not a bad result but not enough to help the team break away in the race for the championship in all arenas.

Al Nassr are currently third in the Saudi Pro League standings, 10 points behind leaders Al Ittihad. With only nine rounds left to go, Al Nassr’s chances of winning the title are slim. This result means Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates will have to continue waiting for their dream of winning the domestic championship.

If Pioli decides to leave Al Nassr, AS Roma could be a potential destination. The Serie A side are looking for a new coach after Claudio Ranieri announced he would retire at the end of the season.

If Pioli joins Roma, this will be a meaningful return for him, having led Lazio in the 2014-2016 period. Pioli helped the team finish in the top 3 of Serie A and qualify for the Champions League play-off round.

Despite the domestic struggles, Pioli still has a chance to make his mark in the AFC Champions League. Al Nassr are in the quarter-finals and will face Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos.

Al Nassr's next match is on April 5 when they take on rivals Al Hilal.

Ronaldo happy with life at Al-Nassr Cristiano Ronaldo is enjoying life at Al-Nassr, insisting he and his family are happy with their new start in Saudi Arabia.
