In localities such as Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Tuyen Quang, etc., after the storm passed, businesses and business units mobilized human resources to urgently overcome the consequences and quickly restore production and business.

For example, at DAP-Vinachem Joint Stock Company in Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Hai Phong), right after the storm, operations industrial production of the business has returned to normal.

Talking to reporters of Cong Thuong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Deputy General Director informed that just one day after the storm, the company had its power restored, workers still went to work and the entire production line maintained normal operations... With the efforts of all the company's staff, after only 3 days, the product was produced.

Or like Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company, storm No. 3 caused damage of about 15-16 billion VND. But with the most urgent spirit, all staff and workers of the company were mobilized to work on Saturdays and Sundays to overcome the consequences and restore production. On September 11, the company exported the first batches of cement after the storm, each day the company exported 6,000 tons of goods to supply the market. Along with that, the company urgently repaired damaged equipment, factories, organized kiln drying, immediately started production and on September 15 caught up with the production progress in time.

Currently, many raw material supplies for processing plants in the North are also at risk of being disrupted because a large part has been washed away. Many facilities are planning to adjust production rates, coordinate with southern suppliers to share raw materials, and even share orders to ensure meeting peak market demand at the end of the year.

Some enterprises in Long Binh An Industrial Park (Tuyen Quang City) such as Tuyen Quang Iron and Steel Company Limited, An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company, Seshin VN2 Company Limited, MSA YB Company Limited... were not directly affected by the recent flood but proactively sent out notices to all staff and workers. The companies have flexibly allowed workers living in flooded areas to temporarily stop working, ensuring safety until the situation stabilizes and they can return to work.

Suntel Vina Co., Ltd. in Dai An Industrial Park expansion in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province is an FDI enterprise from Korea, specializing in manufacturing electronic components for export. The enterprise is focusing on completing over 10 orders. Storm No. 3 damaged over 400 m2 of the factory roof. Most production departments had to be rearranged to ensure continued operations. The enterprise strives to not greatly affect the jobs of more than 300 workers, ensure progress, plans to supply goods to the market, and deliver products signed with partners at the beginning of the year.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Deputy Head of the Hai Duong Industrial Park Management Board, immediately after the storm, the Board inspected the damage situation in industrial parks in the province and grasped the flooding situation. At the same time, it required infrastructure investors to proactively have plans to prevent and combat floods, not to be subjective or negligent in the face of the storm and flood situation. The Board requested the electricity sector to actively coordinate with enterprises investing in the construction of industrial park infrastructure, enterprises with projects in industrial parks to overcome incidents, ensuring power supply for enterprises to stabilize production.

"Support" for industrial production in the last months of the year

To restore production and business, this morning, September 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference on urgently overcoming the consequences of typhoon Yagi, quickly stabilizing and restoring production and business, and promoting growth.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister requested to review and support the restoration of services and industrial production, avoid disruption of supply chains and production chains, have plans to strengthen transportation, reduce transportation costs, and restore warehouses for goods storage.

Specifically, the Prime Minister assigned Ministry of Industry and Trade Ensure supplies and input materials for production and business; The Social Policy Bank has a plan to lend to households; the insurance industry promptly pays for damages to businesses and people.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has focused on measures to stabilize the macro economy, control inflation, maintain growth, ensure major balances of the economy, and promptly update the new inflation growth scenario. Closely, effectively and harmoniously coordinate macroeconomic management policies to maintain economic growth in the new context. Closely monitor price developments of essential goods, especially some goods that tend to increase in price in the post-storm period such as food, materials and supplies for home repair, production and business establishments.

In addition, continue to remove difficulties for businesses and production facilities to promote production and boost exports. Promote the use of existing export orders and export opportunities to markets around the world, especially food and consumer goods. Make the most of traditional markets and continue to open new markets as proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Talking to Cong Thuong Newspaper about solutions to "maintain the pace" of industrial growth in the last months of the year and in 2025, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of the Department Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that the Ministry of Industry and Trade will focus on solutions to increase added value for domestic industrial production and promote the implementation of the Supporting Industry Development Program.

In addition, production and business units need to closely follow the market, expand activities to find new customers; strengthen the connection between production and consumption chains; balance inventory and consumption to ensure cash flow as well as product quality, and arrange production flexibly to maintain optimal production activities. Importantly, associations and industries need to strengthen business connection activities, promote consumption of each other's products.
