As of the morning of June 7, the Vietnamese disabled sports delegation has officially reached the milestone of 130 medals at the 12th ASEAN Para Games (held in Cambodia).

On the third official competition day, the Vietnamese disabled sports delegation won 8 more gold medals, 9 silver medals and 17 bronze medals.
The eight gold medals won by athletes came from athletics, weightlifting and swimming.
The athletics team "exploded" to win 5 gold medals, belonging to Trinh Cong Luan, Truong Bich Van, Vo Van Tung, Nguyen Ngoc Hiep and Pham Nguyen Khanh Minh.
Two gold medals from weightlifting belonged to athlete Nguyen Van Hung in the Men's 72kg weight class after successfully conquering the 155kg weight and achieving a total lift of 458kg.
The 8th gold medal on June 6 belonged to swimmer Trinh Thi Bich Nhu.
Thus, as of the morning of June 7, the Vietnamese disabled sports delegation has won 37 gold medals, 37 silver medals and 56 bronze medals.
This achievement helped the Vietnamese team rank 3rd in the overall medal tally of the 12th ASEAN Para Games, but the two teams above them, Indonesia and Thailand, were far ahead.
Indonesia continued to compete impressively and won 99 gold medals, topping the overall table with 22 more gold medals than Thailand.
The third place of the Vietnamese delegation is also being fiercely competed by the Malaysian delegation. Currently, Malaysia is only 4 gold medals behind Vietnam.
The next positions on the overall rankings are the Philippines, Singapore, host Cambodia, Myanmar, Brunei, Timor Leste and Laos.
