In recent times, Ninh Hai district has regularly directed specialized sectors to coordinate with investors and localities to update annual land use plans, update, adjust and supplement district-level land use plans until 2030. Implement public announcements in the list of projects requiring land acquisition and conversion of rice land use purposes for people to monitor, supervise and implement according to the provisions of law. Thereby, there have been many positive changes, contributing to the effective implementation of land acquisition, site clearance compensation, and conversion of rice land use purposes to implement socio-economic development projects for national and public interests according to the provisions of law. By the end of 2023, the whole district has a total of 162 projects, of which 19 projects have completed compensation, 41 projects are being implemented, and 102 projects have not been implemented. There are 2,275.96 hectares of rice land, a decrease of 2.83 hectares compared to 2021.

Comrade Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic - Budget Department spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested the district to add additional assessments related to the work of reclaiming and using rice land, clearly stating the advantages and limitations, including the work of handling complaints and lawsuits. At the same time, it is necessary to closely evaluate projects in need, projects being implemented and the progress of implementation in the area. Pay attention to the accuracy of the technical design documents of the project. Strengthen coordination with investors, review unfeasible projects, on that basis propose solutions to ensure the rights of land users and promote the potential of the land.
