On the evening of October 31, a delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

On the evening of October 31, within the framework of the working visit to Vietnam from October 25 to November 1, the delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association led by comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, and the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association led by comrade Phan Nhu Nguyen, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association paid a courtesy call to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City chaired the reception of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Chairman of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City introduced the socio-economic development situation, especially in agriculture with some main features of the advantages of developing high-tech agriculture in Ho Chi Minh City, advantages in synthesizing intellectuals, transferring agricultural science, especially advantages in processing to participate in the supply chain of agricultural products.

Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers Association, thanked the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City for their warm and enthusiastic welcome. Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega said that after visiting the high-tech agricultural zone in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers Association had access to a lot of useful information and hoped that the Vietnamese leaders would create conditions for the two units to connect and cooperate in the future.
