The delegation included comrade Nguyen Cao Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations, and leaders of Hoa Lu and Yen Mo districts.
* On October 24, the delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Receiving the delegation were comrade Nguyen Hoang Long, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the United Kingdom, concurrently Ireland, along with Deputy Ambassador and staff of the Embassy.
At the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council exchanged information about the potentials, strengths, and socio-economic development results of the province, the activities of the Provincial People's Council, and issues that the locality wants to consult, connect investment, and promote the image of Ninh Binh to the United Kingdom and Ireland such as: Investment in tourism economic development, training human resources for tourism; high-tech industry, clean industry, supporting industry, digital transformation in State and enterprise management; building heritage urban areas, investing in socialized healthcare and education, etc.
Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long welcomed and was willing to share some cooperation ideas on: Organizing events to promote Ninh Binh tourism in the UK, developing investment cooperation in resort villa projects, consulting on investment in agricultural development, labor export, digital transformation, investment in healthcare, non-public education, connecting, participating in the Council of Vietnam - UK Universities...
To implement these contents, Ninh Binh province needs to develop a cooperation program to register with the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and regularly exchange information, creating close cooperative relationships with British and Irish organizations and businesses.
The members of the delegation exchanged information, connected with each field, created connections with the Embassy and were ready to discuss when there were opportunities for cooperation.
* On the morning of October 25, the delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of the restoration of Uncle Ho's statue at the Newhaven Town Museum and offered flowers at the Uncle Ho Memorial Stele at Newhaven Harbor, where Uncle Ho set foot in the UK and worked in the town (in 1913), organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK in coordination with the Newhaven Town Council.

After the inauguration ceremony, the delegation visited the headquarters of Newhaven Town in Lewes District, Sussex, Southern England and worked with Ms. Julie Carr - Mayor of Newhaven Town.
Also working were Ms. To Minh Thu, Deputy Ambassador and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK.
Here, the delegation exchanged information on socio-economic issues, activities of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council and Newhaven town. The two sides agreed to promote tourism and trade exchanges, and connect businesses operating in the logistics sector.
* On the afternoon of October 25, the delegation worked with the London City Urban Innovation Center.
The leaders and members of the delegation discussed some socio-economic strengths, investment opportunities in tourism, supporting industries, high-tech industries; asked the London City Urban Innovation Center to share experiences in digital transformation in urban management, businesses, heritage urban construction, ecological environment protection, etc.
Representative of the London Urban Innovation Center, Mr. Sam Markey, Ecosystem Director, discussed the Center's organizational model, the Center's strengths such as: Consulting on innovation, urban development in many countries around the world and some cities in Vietnam; the issue of applying high technology in developing urban competitiveness indexes; combining with universities to research urban development according to specific roadmaps and stages...
The two sides discussed support methods through online platforms, and some funding sources if consulting partnerships were conducted.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council respectfully invited representatives of the London City Urban Innovation Center to visit and work in Ninh Binh to discuss and conduct further research on issues surrounding urban innovation and development.
* On the morning of October 26, the delegation worked with the West London Chamber of Commerce.
Receiving the delegation, Mr. Alan Rides Miex, CEO and members in charge of the fields of tourism, trade, investment, artificial intelligence, digital technology, education, culture...
After listening to the Delegation discuss the overview, strengths, investment opportunities and issues of interest to the Delegation, and the desire to discuss investment promotion for socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province, Mr. Alan Rides Miex and the members expressed their good feelings towards Ninh Binh, wishing to connect bilaterally with Ninh Binh in the fields of investment promotion, trade, tourism and promoting socio-economic development of Ninh Binh.
Representatives of the West London Chamber of Commerce happily accepted the invitation to visit and work in Ninh Binh at an appropriate time to connect Ninh Binh with British businesses and discuss cooperation in the coming time.
* On the morning of October 27, the delegation divided into two groups to work with the Honorary Consulate of Vietnam in Dublin, Ireland and the Irish Federation of Enterprises and Employers. Comrade Mai Van Tuat chaired the working session with the Honorary Consulate of Vietnam in Dublin.
Mr. Ronnie Delaney, Director of External Affairs of the Honorary Consulate Office and the Office staff welcomed and worked with the Delegation.
At the meeting, after listening to comrade Mai Van Tuat and members of the delegation exchanging information about both sides, Mr. Ronnie Delaney was very pleased and wished to visit and work with Ninh Binh on the issue of cooperation and promotion of investment, tourism, and trade, and was ready to act as a bridge to introduce Ninh Binh to the Irish business community.
Comrade Nguyen Cao Son, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the working session with the Irish Federation of Enterprises and Employers.
Ms. Klaudia, Head of Trade Operations and International Relations of the Federation, received and worked with the Delegation.
Comrade Nguyen Cao Son discussed trade promotion, support for small and medium enterprises, and suggested cooperation opportunities between Irish enterprises and Ninh Binh enterprises.
Ms. Klaudia happily accepted the offer to connect Irish businesses with Ninh Binh to promote sustainable development on both sides.
* On the afternoon of October 27, the delegation visited and discussed management, operation and promotion models to attract tourists to visit and research at the Chester Beatty Cultural Museum, capital city of Dublin.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, Ms. Fionnuala Crocke, Director of the Museum, exchanged some information about the Museum's self-management model, the method of operating, displaying and preserving artifacts, aiming to always innovate artifacts and the way of arranging artifacts at the Museum, the method of connecting heritages according to the global museum system, creating a new feeling for visitors when coming to the museum.
After hearing some introductory information about Ninh Binh, Ms. Fionnuala Crocke was very pleased to welcome the delegation and hoped to visit Ninh Binh in the near future, and through the Museum's media channels, will introduce Ninh Binh to Irish people.
With a positive, urgent and highly responsible working spirit, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council led by Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, effectively implemented the program and objectives of the working trip; introduced the potential, strengths and investment and development opportunities of the province to British and Irish partners; initially initiated a bilateral cooperation relationship between Ninh Binh province and the British and Irish communities.
It is hoped that these will be the initial steps for a long-term development cooperation program of the province in the future, contributing to the rapid and sustainable implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals.
