Hai Van Pass is about 20 km north of Da Nang city center and is located at an altitude of more than 500m above sea level. In early March, the top of Hai Van Pass is filled with white clouds, attracting many people and tourists to go up the pass to take pictures, "hunt" for clouds, and breathe in the fresh air.
Hai Van Pass is also known as May Pass because it is covered in clouds all year round. The pass winds across the Bach Ma mountain range.

Many cloud hunters say the magical scene only appears for a very short moment and often suddenly after heavy rain, or on days when the northeast monsoon blows.
Immersed in the waterfall of clouds, the roadside scenery gradually becomes blurred, so tourists and young people coming to Hai Van Pass to "hunt" for clouds must be extremely careful when moving.
To admire the entire poetic and majestic beauty of Hai Van Pass as well as "hunt" for clouds, visitors can choose the time frame from 5 - 6 am and around 3 - 4 pm every day.
"Hunting" for flying clouds is still hot and is sought after by paparazzi and young people.
Take the opportunity to capture the moment the cloud waterfall falls down
Tourist Huynh Kim Tung (45 years old) shared: "I traveled from Nha Trang to Hue and felt very lucky when I first went up Hai Van Pass and "hunted" the scene of floating clouds. I took quite a few photos, but still lingered to admire this cloud waterfall."
Many groups of friends went up the pass to "hunt" for clouds and film clips "following" the trend.
Watching many clips of cloud waterfalls online in recent days, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy (22 years old, student at the University of Technology - Danang University) and her friends went up the pass to "hunt" for clouds.
"I saw the clip and thought it was very beautiful, but when I came here and saw it with my own eyes, I was really impressed by its magnificence. My friend and I took the opportunity to capture the most beautiful moments with the cloud waterfall to show off to our friends," said Ms. Thuy.
Many foreign tourists are delighted by the sight of clouds spreading like giant cotton carpets, rushing over the mountains.
Located on Hai Van Pass, Hai Van Quan relic is being invested in and restored, promising to attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience after its inauguration.
