Mr. Vo Quang Hoang - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Hotel Association (under Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association) - said that during the September 2nd holiday this year, the number of domestic tourists is forecast to increase, international tourists are stable, and the capacity of hotels and resorts in Khanh Hoa during the holiday will be higher than every year.
“With convenient transportation, more tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces will come to Khanh Hoa than last year. Besides domestic tourists, the number of international tourists to Khanh Hoa is very good, especially Korean and Chinese tourists,” said Mr. Hoang.

As of now, many resorts and hotels in Bai Dai area (Cam Ranh) have room bookings of about 70-80%. Hotels in Nha Trang have room bookings of about 60%, with guests staying from August 31 to September 3.
According to Mr. Nguyen Phi Hong Nguyen - Vice President of Khanh Hoa Tourism Association - on the occasion of September 2 this year, airfares and bus fares tend to increase by about 20%, train fares are stable, currently there has not been a record of a large increase in the number of visitors, mainly tourists from neighboring localities and visitors returning home for the holiday.
In August 2024, Khanh Hoa tourism earned more than 6,300 billion VND
According to statistics from Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in August 2024, the total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments is estimated at more than 1.3 million, an increase of 33.1% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors are about 416,000, domestic visitors are more than 915,000. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 6,322.9 billion VND.
In the first 8 months of 2024, the total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments reached more than 8 million, an increase of 61.1% over the same period in 2023 (reaching 88.9% of the plan).
Specifically, international visitors reached more than 3.2 million, 2.6 times higher than the same period (exceeding 6.7% of the plan); domestic visitors reached more than 4.8 million, up 29.1% over the same period (reaching 80% of the plan). Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND 39,513.7 billion, up 65.3% over the same period (reaching 98.5% of the plan).
