At the forum, the people expressed and sent many opinions and wishes such as opening pottery making classes, planning pottery firing areas, building pottery material areas; supporting the development of craft villages to solve local jobs for people; planning crop and livestock production areas to help people have conditions to develop the economy; solving jobs for ethnic minority children after graduation; creating conditions for ethnic minority children from poor and near-poor households to study at boarding schools in the area.
Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the forum.
Speaking at the forum, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the forum is an opportunity for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies to accompany and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the ethnic minority and mountainous people in the implementation and dissemination of the policies and resolutions of the Party and the State. From there, it will remove difficulties and obstacles in implementation, so that the policies can truly come into life and be effective on the principle of "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise and people benefit". He asked people to be bold, frank and sincere in exchanging and contributing ideas and recommendations for the socio-economic development of the ethnic minority and mountainous areas; at the same time, he emphasized that through providing information at the forum, representatives of provincial and district departments, branches and sectors will receive and explain the opinions, recommendations and proposals of the people. Thereby, there will be appropriate and effective solutions in implementing the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
