According to doctors, placental abruption is a rare and very dangerous obstetric disease. If not treated promptly, the risk of the baby dying in the womb is very high due to lack of oxygen and nutrients. For pregnant women, placental abruption can cause complications such as blood clotting disorders, uterine atony, hysterectomy or life-threatening.
