Proposing the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to approve the classification and grading of 47 dike routes

Most of the proposed dikes have the function of preventing salinity and protecting agricultural land areas.

According to the submission, Quang Nam proposed that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development consider and approve the classification and grading of 47 dike routes, with a total length of more than 123km, protecting more than 81,000 people and a protected area of ​​more than 10,800 hectares.

Of the 47 proposed dike routes, Thang Binh has 14 routes; Nui Thanh has 15 routes; Dien Ban town has 1 route; Tam Ky city has 2 routes; Duy Xuyen city has 5 routes; Hoi An city has 6 routes; Que Son has 4 routes. All dike routes are proposed to be classified as level V dikes, with the function of preventing salinity and protecting agricultural land. The Tay Yen River dike route alone has the function of preventing floods and protecting residential land and agricultural land; the Ban Thach River dike route has the function of preventing floods and protecting residential land.
