From the QR code on the product packaging, consumers can use their smartphones to access a lot of information (date, month of manufacture, expiry date and origin of the item...), thereby being more assured about the quality of the products they choose. For businesses, applying TXNG stamps is to position the brand to expand the consumer market.
In recent times, to support business units and production facilities in applying technology in product quality assurance, the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, the Department of Science and Technology has coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to guide and support subjects in standardizing production processes, information transparency, encoding, and affixing QR Code labels for product quality assurance, promoting consumption, enhancing product value, business reputation, and serving international integration. In addition, promoting propaganda and organizing training to raise people's awareness of the effectiveness of product quality assurance. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for businesses, organizations, and individuals to connect to the product quality assurance information portal, helping to raise businesses' awareness of product quality assurance, healthy competition, sharing and linking cooperation for innovation, and improving competitiveness.
