After the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, the number of vehicles coming for vehicle inspection in Bac Lieu and Ca Mau tends to decrease compared to before Tet.

On February 6, speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Le Hoang Kiem, Director of Vehicle Inspection Department No. 17 (located at Hamlet 5, Tan Xuyen Ward, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province) said that after the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, there will be no traffic congestion at the unit for vehicle inspection.

Inside the factory of Inspection Department No. 17 (Ca Mau) is quite deserted after the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025.

"After Tet, the demand for motor vehicle inspection by individuals and organizations in the province decreased by about 50% compared to the time before Tet. The number of inspectors of the unit is still 5 people, equivalent to 2024.

The decrease in vehicle inspections is because people took the initiative to bring their vehicles for inspection before Tet. At the same time, the unit has made efforts to process all the documents, so after Tet, the number of vehicles coming for inspections has decreased," Mr. Kiem informed.

Also according to Mr. Kiem, after three days of returning to work at the beginning of the year, the number of vehicles coming for inspection gradually decreased, with an average of about 20-25 vehicles per day, equivalent to the same period in 2024.

As of this morning, the yard of the department has about 11-12 vehicles, the area is quite airy. The unit still maintains two inspection lines (cars, trucks), so the inspection is not interrupted, shortening the waiting time," said Mr. Kiem.

At Bac Lieu Vehicle Inspection Branch, there were only a few vehicles coming for inspection on the morning of February 6.

At the Bac Lieu Vehicle Inspection Branch (under the Vehicle Inspection Sub-Department No. 17), Mr. Ho Van Tha, Head of the branch, said that currently, the number of vehicles coming for inspection has decreased by more than 50% compared to before Tet (about 20 vehicles per day, a decrease of about 5-10 vehicles compared to the same period in 2024).

"During the Tet holiday, the number of vehicles increased dramatically compared to normal days. With four inspectors (no increase or decrease compared to 2024), we were determined to work overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays, to complete all the registration documents. Therefore, after Tet, there were not many vehicles coming to register.

According to the reporter of Giao thong Newspaper on the morning of February 6, the number of vehicles coming to Bac Lieu Registration Branch for vehicle inspection was very low, less than 10 vehicles parked inside the waiting area. When a vehicle arrived, the inspectors immediately started the inspection process, not making people wait long.
