Drunk airline passenger attacks airline security staff

It is known that Mr. H is scheduled to fly to Tho Xuan, Thanh Hoa on a flight departing at 3:05 p.m. the same day.

Mr. H. showed signs of drinking alcohol and lost self-control while talking with the airline representative.

During the exchange, Mr. H. continuously showed signs of not being able to control his behavior and had signs of having consumed alcoholic beverages .

Therefore, the airline representative on duty at the departure gate requested assistance from the airport's aviation security control force and decided to refuse transportation to ensure the security and safety of the flight.

Notably, while the airline representative and aviation security staff were instructing and explaining to the passengers about changing their flight itinerary, Mr. H. lost his temper and attacked and assaulted aviation security staff Le Vu Duy Nam . Immediately, the aviation security control force controlled and stopped the passenger's behavior.

The case was then handed over to the Southern Airports Authority for proper handling according to regulations.

After working and verifying camera images and related documents, the Southern Airport Authority drew up a record of administrative violations against Mr. LXH for the act of "Assaulting aviation staff, passengers, and other people at airports, airfields, places with civil aviation facilities, equipment, and devices that are not yet subject to criminal prosecution" according to the provisions of Decree No. 162/2018 on administrative sanctions in the field of civil aviation, with a fine of 8.5 million VND.
