
The delegation was led by Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission. On the Dien Bien province side, there was Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, and members of the Organizing Committee of the Cherry Blossom Festival - Dien Bien Phu 2024.

Offering incense at the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Field and A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegates respectfully laid wreaths, expressed their respect and remembrance of the great President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, along with the cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline workers, army and people who heroically fought and sacrificed to create the Dien Bien Phu victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world".

The delegates prayed for the souls of the martyrs and compatriots who sacrificed at Dien Bien Phu battlefield to rest in peace, and to bless the nation with peace and prosperity, the country to integrate and develop, and the nation to be strong and prosperous. They wished for the successful organization of the Cherry Blossom Festival - Dien Bien Phu in 2024.

On this occasion, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, and leaders of Dien Bien province planted a memorial tree in the grounds of the Martyrs' Temple at the Dien Bien Phu battlefield . The delegation also spent time visiting the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum - which stores nearly 1,000 historical documents and artifacts, along with a panoramic painting vividly recreating the resistance war against French colonialism by our army and people during the 56 days and nights of the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
