On the occasion of Vietnam Stage Day (August 12 of the lunar calendar), on the morning of September 14, artists of Thai Binh Cheo Theater and the Vietnam Stage Artists Association in Thai Binh held an incense offering ceremony to their ancestors.

Artists offer incense at the Cheo Ancestor Temple in Khuoc village, Phong Chau commune (Dong Hung).

The artists went to offer incense to their ancestors at the traditional room - Cheo Theater, Cai Luong Troupe; the Cheo Ancestor Temple of Khuoc village, Phong Chau commune (Dong Hung); Phuong Vu pagoda, Minh Khai commune (Vu Thu) - the place to worship Zen master Tu Dao Hanh, who taught Cheo singing and water puppetry during the Ly dynasty and offered incense at the house of the late People's Artist Nguyen Mam in Song An (Vu Thu) - a teacher who had great contributions in teaching the art of Cheo.

The incense offering activity to the ancestors is a meaningful activity held annually to educate the traditions of artists on the occasion of Vietnam Theatre Day. Thereby, contributing to building good and humane values, passing on the artistic flame to generations of artists.
