On the afternoon of February 3, the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, Thanh Mien District Party Committee, and Gia Loc District Party Committee organized incense and flower offering ceremonies at the Memorial House of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang in Thanh Tung Commune (Thanh Mien); Memorial House of Vice President of the State Council Le Thanh Nghi in Gia Phuc Commune (Gia Loc) on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
Delegates offered fragrant incense sticks and fresh flower baskets with infinite respect and gratitude to the souls of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang and Vice Chairman of the State Council Le Thanh Nghi.
Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 - July 20, 1979) was from Dong village, Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong). Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang participated in revolutionary activities from December 1925, often using the aliases Anh Ca, Sao Do. From the early days of the country's founding, comrade Nguyen Luong Bang was assigned by the Party and State many important missions such as being the first General Director of the National Bank of Vietnam; the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam to the Soviet Union; Inspector General of the Government; Head of the Central Inspection Committee.
Vice President of the State Council Le Thanh Nghi (March 6, 1911 - August 16, 1989), whose real name was Nguyen Khac Xung, was from Thuong Coc village, Gia Khanh commune (now Gia Phuc, Gia Loc district, Hai Duong). He participated in revolutionary activities since 1928 and joined the Indochinese Communist Party in 1930. During his lifetime, he held many important positions in the Party and State. He was a member of the Party Central Committee of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th terms; a member of the Politburo of the 3rd and 4th terms; and a National Assembly delegate from the 2nd to the 7th terms.
