Comrade Bui Van Quang, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, presided over the ceremony. The delegation performed the ceremony in light rain, making the atmosphere of the incense offering ceremony more sacred.
From 6:20 a.m., the procession with honor guards carrying the national flag, festival flags, wreaths bearing the words "Forever grateful to the Hung Kings for their contributions to building the country", flower baskets; 18 young women wearing traditional red ao dai carrying incense, flower bouquets, offerings; a group of 100 descendants of Lac Hong carrying festival flags... and the delegates began to depart from the Hung Temple Festival Center yard.

After completing these sacred rituals, the delegation and the ceremonial team moved to the front of the Uncle Ho relief to talk to the officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps at the Gieng Temple 5-way intersection.
Here, the delegation performed the ceremony of offering a flower basket with the words "Forever remember and follow Uncle Ho's teachings" to the music of the song "By Uncle Ho's Monument" by musician Lu Nhat Vu.
While delegates performed the incense offering ceremony to the Hung Kings, thousands of people lined up in the rain below the Hung Temple Festival Center yard, waiting for their turn to enter the ceremony and visit.
And tens of thousands of people continue to flock to Hung Temple Festival to offer incense in memory of the National Ancestors.
As usual, the familiar image is groups of people including children, the elderly, young men and women making a pilgrimage to the homeland together, regardless of the cold and rainy weather.
This year is an even year, the festival is held on a grand scale, with the participation of Central leaders.
The festival also attracts a large number of people to visit and make offerings a week before. In particular, this year's Hung King's death anniversary falls on the first Monday of the week, combined with the weekend to form a relatively long holiday, so people from all over flock to the festival.
The organizers recorded a record number of people attending the festival. On April 6, the main day of the festival, the Hung Temple Festival welcomed 300,000 visitors, according to preliminary statistics from Phu Tho Provincial Police.
Despite the large number of visitors, security, order and traffic safety are still well ensured at the Hung Temple festival area and throughout Phu Tho province.
After the celebrant read the memorial eulogy for the Hung Kings in the front yard of the Thuong Temple, President Luong Cuong and delegates offered incense, flowers, and gifts at the upper palace of the Thuong Temple and offered incense and flowers at the Hung Kings' mausoleum.
