This event marks an important "message" sent to businesses and farmers in and outside the province that the requirements of the market and partners are orders for producers to strive to fulfill. Currently, there are two global hot issues that our country is affected by: armed conflicts between a number of countries and the ecological environment is being affected by climate change.

From there, to meet the strict requirements of the market, especially the European region, Simexco DakLak must aim to build a sustainable raw material area (paying attention to strict regulations related to natural forest protection - PV), a standard production line certified by competent authorities... to help local agricultural products continue to have a foothold in the international market.

In addition, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities must also focus on improving livelihoods and converting crops for people... Currently, Simexco's raw material area is over 50,000 hectares, cooperating with 40,000 farming households to produce over 100,000 tons of sustainable coffee.

Currently, Vietnam is the most important Robusta coffee producer in the global supply chain. The European coffee market consumes up to 40% of Vietnam's output. Therefore, the unit has focused on proving that the Vietnamese coffee industry meets the EUDR standards to meet the export requirements of the international market.

In the coming time, we are urgently working with Buon Ma Thuot city and the districts of Krong Nang, Cu M'gar, Cu Kuin, Buon Ho, Krong Ana and with a total of nearly 80,000 households, 100,000 hectares and 300 thousand tons have been inspected for compliance with EUDR regulations in the third quarter of 2024.

In the coming time, Simexco commits to continue its efforts with producers to pioneer sustainable development initiatives and environmental protection; specifically, we have built a 5,000-hectare raw material area by 2030 that will balance emissions, and 1,000 hectares can sell carbon certificates. Sustainable farming and environmental protection will help farmers have a good and better income from now on. - Mr. Le Duc Huy emphasized.

They must demonstrate that the products are not related to deforestation and forest degradation after December 31, 2020 and must comply with all relevant current laws in effect in the country of production.
