Emulation Congress to win Regiment 584 period 2019

On June 7, Regiment 584 (Dak Lak Provincial Military Command) held an emulation congress for the period 2019 - 2024.

Regiment 584 was established on March 10, 1993, inheriting the tradition of Regiment 84 in the resistance war against the French colonialists. Promoting the spirit of patriotic emulation and determination to win of previous generations, in the period of 2019 - 2024, the Regiment's determination to win emulation movement developed with many rich contents and forms, with comprehensive innovation.

Over the past 5 years, the Regiment has organized 12 trips for 2,000 officers and soldiers to conduct outdoor training combined with mass mobilization work with more than 7,000 working days to help the people; organized 5 trips for 400 officers and soldiers to return home to celebrate Lunar New Year with ethnic minorities; organized 20 cultural and artistic exchanges, sports, free haircuts, combined with visits and gifts to disadvantaged families... The Regiment was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" in the period of 2015 - 2020.

From the emulation movements, many new and effective models and methods have emerged in the Regiment such as: "Saving allowances for tomorrow's career", "New recruits' mark", "Military club", "Youth flower street", "Women help each other overcome difficulties", "A bowl of water on the training ground, cools the soldiers' hearts".

Along with training and combat readiness, the Regiment resolutely implemented the policy of "4 together - 4 grasp - 4 proactive - 4 companion", focusing on the work of building regulations, enforcing discipline; building "bright, green, clean, beautiful" barracks, planting 1,250 new trees, greening more than 1.7 hectares. The unit promoted the emulation of "initiatives, improving teaching aid models"; invested more than 70,000 working days to build 14 new training grounds, consolidate 36 training grounds, and renew more than 1,200 markers of all kinds and teaching aid models.

Responding to emulation movements, over the past 5 years, officers and soldiers of the Regiment have actively implemented models such as: "Military-civilian road", "Eliminating hunger, reducing poverty", "Bringing electricity to the village roads"; organizing more than 3,500 working days to participate in the construction of cultural works, inter-village roads, dredging irrigation canals. In 5 years, the Regiment has had 232 collectives and 200 individuals awarded with emulation titles, certificates of merit, and certificates of merit by the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 5, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Military Command.

Promoting the achieved results, in the period of 2024 - 2029, officers and soldiers of the Regiment will focus on studying, working, training, promoting the emulation movement to win into a revolutionary action climax, continuing to make new achievements; continue to compete to build a strong unit in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; compete to excellently complete political tasks, well implement breakthroughs and key emulation activities; strive for 100% of officers and soldiers to deeply understand the tasks, targets, and training programs; continue to promote the nature and tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", unite and stick with the people, actively participate in the movements "Repaying gratitude", "Sustainable poverty reduction", "Armed forces join hands to build new rural areas" ...

On this occasion, Regiment 584 awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 groups and 7 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement for victory, period 2019 - 2024.
