At exactly 8:00 p.m. on October 25, at December 25 Square, Binh Lieu Town, Binh Lieu District, the Opening Ceremony of Binh Lieu District Culture - Tourism Week 2024 was held. With the theme "Binh Lieu - Festival Season", the program is a colorful cultural party, introducing and promoting the image of Binh Lieu - the "paradise" of autumn and winter tourism in Quang Ninh.
The Cultural - Tourism Week of Binh Lieu district in 2024 is an activity to celebrate the 29th Binh Lieu district Party Congress, the 16th Quang Ninh provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 towards the 14th National Party Congress; celebrate the 105th anniversary of the district's founding (December 26, 1919 - December 26, 2024) and the 75th anniversary of the district's liberation (December 25, 1950 - December 25, 2025).
The opening program of Binh Lieu District Cultural Tourism Week this year consists of 3 parts: Opening performance, ritual part and art program mobilizing the participation of nearly 150 artists, professional actors and folk artists, extras. The program was broadcast on QTV3 channel, livestreamed on the fanpage QMG-Tin tuc Quang Ninh 24/7 of Quang Ninh Media Center and received great attention from many tourists.
This year is the first year that Binh Lieu district has recreated the royal decree procession in the Luc Na Communal House Festival on the opening stage of the Binh Lieu District Culture and Tourism Week. This special performance is a blend of sacred cultural and religious elements with the steadfast and heroic qualities of the people in the border land of Binh Lieu.
The unique culture of ethnic minority communities such as Tay, Dao, San Chi... continues to be the red thread throughout the program, creating a difference for the cultural destination of Binh Lieu. Through the art program, visitors will come to Binh Lieu land with the majestic, wild nature of Khe Van waterfall, terraced fields, hills of pure white flowers and winding border roads..., return to Huc Dong vermicelli making village, enjoy the special cuisine of the people, immerse yourself in profound folk melodies such as Then singing on Tinh lute of the Tay people, Soong Co singing of the San Chi people and San Co singing of the Thanh Phan Dao people...
The Cultural - Tourism Week has been held annually by Binh Lieu district for the past 5 years. The event has gradually become a tourism brand, contributing effectively to promoting the image of nature, culture and people of Binh Lieu to a large number of tourists, inviting tourists to this land.
From now until the end of the year, within the framework of the Cultural - Tourism Week of Binh Lieu district, many attractive activities will take place such as: Golden Season Festival, So Flower Festival, Quang Ninh Province Ethnic Minority Women's Football Tournament, Dinosaur Back Conquering Mountain Climbing Tournament or "Flying Over the Golden Season" Paragliding Festival...
The Cultural - Tourism Week of Binh Lieu district is the biggest tourism stimulus event of the year in the district; exploiting the advantages of natural and cultural tourism of Binh Lieu in autumn and winter, contributing to the development of four-season tourism in Quang Ninh province. By renewing activities in the Cultural - Tourism Week, Binh Lieu expects to reach the target of welcoming 250,000 visitors in 2024.
