On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, at the close of the session, VN-Index increased by 1.6 points (0.12%), to 1,331.92 points while VN30-Index stopped at 1,388.79 points, down 1.91 points (-0.14%).

Green remained almost from the beginning to the end of the session, only at 2:22 p.m. did the VN-Index drop slightly but quickly rebound. In this session, the pillar stocks were differentiated, so the market could not break out.
Of the 10 stocks with the largest capitalization, 4 stocks decreased in price, 1 stock remained unchanged, and 5 stocks were in green, namely BID, CTG, VIC, VHM, and HPG, but the increase was not strong.
The code with the highest increase was only 1.53%. That was BID, the code with the second largest market capitalization, contributing the most with more than 1 point.
While BID, CTG, TPB are in the group that contributes a lot to the VN-Index, VCB, MBB, LPB, VPB, TCB are among the codes that take away the most points.
Fortunately, stocks with increasing prices dominated. On the whole floor, 270 stocks increased and 191 stocks decreased. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increased and decreased in price was 16 and 10, respectively.
In terms of industry groups, the number of industries that increased was slightly higher than the number that decreased, in which, vehicles and components, consumer services, and health care were the industries that increased by more than 1%. On the other hand, pharmaceuticals-biology, distribution and retail of durable goods, and software decreased by 1%-1.85%.
Liquidity was high with over VND22,000 billion changed hands. Foreign investors continued to be net sellers. This group bought over VND1,752 billion and sold over VND2,148 billion.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, nearly VND1,000 billion worth of shares were traded. At the end of the session, the HNX-Index stopped at 244.56 points, down 1.43 points (-0.58%); the HNX30-Index fell 0.41 points (-0.08%), to 499.63 points.
