More than 25,000 visitors came to Hung Temple during the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land and Hung Kings' Death Anniversary 2025

Towards the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day with deep respect and gratitude for the great contributions of the Hung Kings and our ancestors who built and defended the country, thousands of tourists from all over the country flocked to the Hung Temple Historical Site (Viet Tri City, Phu Tho) to burn incense and pay homage to their ancestors. Before the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land took place, tens of thousands of people came to the Hung Temple to pay their respects.

During the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land alone, since the opening day until now (3 days), the number of visitors to Hung Temple has been about 25,000, of which, the first opening day attracted about 2,000 people, on the weekend, the number of visitors to Hung Temple was crowded, up to 20,000.

Responding to Hanoi Moi newspaper, Ms. Dao Thi Ngoc Tuyet, Head of the Department of Monuments, Culture and Festival Management - Hung Temple Historical Site Management Board said that although the number of visitors to Hung Temple to offer incense and perform ceremonies is very large, especially on weekends, the reception, guidance, security and order work has been carefully prepared in advance, so people and visitors to Hung Temple are very excited and safe.

According to the Hung Temple Historical Relic Management Board, in preparation for the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land and the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day 2025, the unit has renovated and upgraded the landscape system in front of the Gieng Temple. In addition, the Management Board focused on repairing and preventing slippery roads up and down the temples, rearranging and reorganizing the entire area of ​​shops and service sales locations, ensuring civility, politeness and aesthetics. At the same time, the water supply system, electrical system, public sanitation works and planting and replacing flowers and ornamental plants around the relic site...

Not only renovating the landscape system, the Hung Temple Historical Relic Management Board also created more green space and flowers to attract visitors when they come to attend the Hung King's death anniversary.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, today (April 1), activities within the framework of the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land and Hung Kings' Commemoration Day 2025 include:

- Incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings of districts, cities and towns in Phu Tho province at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site

- Special exhibition introducing documents and artifacts from the Hung King period in Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces at Hung King Museum, Viet Tri city (opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday every week - morning from 8:00 - 11:00, afternoon from 14:00 - 16:30)

- Street music program "Livemusic" at the Southern Stage of Van Lang Park, Hai Ba Trung Street

- Xoan singing performance program of Xoan singing clubs and folk songs of Viet Tri city Education sector at Van Lang Park Stage, Tran Phu street, Viet Tri city.

- Cultural camp and display, promotion and introduction of local products and specialties at Phu Bung Mountain Area, Hung Temple Historical Site.

- Display of artistic orchids at the Gieng Temple Intersection, Hung Temple Historical Site.

- 2025 Ancestral Land Book Festival at Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri City - Performing art programs for tours (deck puppetry and folk plays) at Hung Temple Historical Site.

- Displaying artifacts, documents, books, photos... about the heritage of Hung King worship in Phu Tho at Hung King Museum, Viet Tri Provincial - City Library and Hung King Museum - Hung Temple Historical Site.

- Night cultural and artistic performances at Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri Provincial Library - City; Hung Vuong Museum - Hung Temple Historical Site.
