Da Nang cooperates with Quest Ventures Venture Capital Fund

ĐNO - On the afternoon of November 23, within the framework of the activity "Expanding into the Vietnamese market" in the series of events of the National Innovation Startup Festival (Techfest-Whise 2023) taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Science and Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Quest Ventures Venture Capital Fund.

Cooperation activities include: training and coaching of angel investment fund networks, startup incubation and acceleration courses, promotion and connection in the field of innovative startup ecosystems.

In addition, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City will support workspace for Quest Ventures in Da Nang at the Vietnam Innovation Hub.

The cooperation between the two sides is an opportunity to learn, share experiences, connect and develop the innovative startup ecosystem in Da Nang; at the same time, it brings the potential to attract international investment capital, promote innovation and creativity in the local startup community in the coming time.

Quest Ventures is a venture capital fund headquartered in Singapore. To date, Quest Venture has invested in more than 100 startups in the Asia region, including 3 startups that have become technology unicorns, valued at 1 billion USD or more.

At the signing ceremony, representatives of Quest Ventures Investment Fund expressed their desire to support and enhance the capacity of startups in Da Nang city, thereby accessing the international capital market and the fund's ecosystem.
